Welcome to 2nd Grade!
I am excited to meet you and begin our journey of learning and growing together!
I have been teaching for 20+ years and began my life as a Torrey Hills Hawk in 2003. I am so grateful to be able to collaborate with such a caring and supportive community. As a teacher at Torrey Hills, I have taught first grade, second grade and a first/second combo. I earned my B.A. in English and B.A. in Film Studies from the University of California, Irvine and my M.A. in Education from Pepperdine University.

Life Outside of the Hawk's Nest
When I am not in the classroom, you can find me spending time with my husband, two kids, family and friends. I love the outdoors, enjoy camping, hiking, going to the beach and exploring new places. I also love cooking, traveling, the arts and reading.
