Welcome to Kindergarten!
I have been teaching in the Del Mar Union School District since 1995. I have taught kindergarten, fourth grade, and third grade. Prior to 1995 I taught for two years in San Diego City Schools. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. I LOVE teaching kindergarten and I look forward to a fun year of learning, growth and laughter with your child! It truly is a magical time.
I am married to Bob Teisher, a history teacher at San Dieguito Academy. We have 3 adult children and 2 of our kids are high school history teachers too!
Watch for me in my fairy costume, searching for the gingerbread man, or trying to trap the leprechauns! I love inspiring, learning with, and being silly with the kids!

I believe all children can reach their full potential when given a warm, fun and nurturing environment to grow and learn. I believe in instilling a love for learning and mutual respect in our kindergarten class family. We are truly a team, creating a partnerhship for your child's best learing experience. Kindergarten is a magical year!
Life Outside of the Hawk's Nest
I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with my family. I have three adult kids that make me so proud. I love to play pickle ball, swim, ski, travel, hike, read, and take our two funny dogs, Gus and Peanut, for walks.
