Teaching sixth grade is my passion. I believe in learning through rich conversations about literacy, math, and science. I love a classroom that feels 'alive' with student energy and thinking. My goal is to foster deep thinking, intrinsic motivation, and a love of learning while preparing students for the increased demands of middle school and beyond.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family or friends, swimming, at the beach, reading, bike riding and watching my boys play sports.
