Welcome to Third Grade!
It is hard to believe, but this is my 26th year of teaching! I remember the butterflies in my stomach when I received the keys to my first classroom. I approach each year with that same excitement and enthusiasm! I learn and grow with my students every day!
I have taught every elementary grade except for first and I honestly do not have a favorite. I simply love teaching children and meeting their needs! I am thrilled to be teaching third and I know we will have a fantastic year!

We will be building a classroom community where students are encouraged to take risks and to become independent and resourceful learners! I want my students to embrace their mistakes and learn from them! I hope to encourage empathy, kindness, and to foster critical thinking skills!

When I am not teaching, you might find me at the beach, reading a book, cooking, working on a house project, gardening, hiking, or simply trying to spend quality time with my family!
