Torrey Hills School
Welcome to 6th Grade! I am looking forward to teaching your children in their last year of elementary school.
About Me:
I have taught at Torrey Hills Elementary since the year it opened. This will be my eighth year as a 6th grade teacher. I've previously taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. I have lived all over the place--New Mexico, Vienna, Austria; Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and now Encinitas. I received my BA from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, and my teaching credentials here in San Diego.
Outside of school, I love to spend time with my husband, Tony, and two boys, Ben and Sam, ages 10 and 8. I love to hike, go to the beach, run, and cook.

Positive relationships, culture, and being valued lead to a strong classroom community, physical and mental health, an enjoyment of learning, and the ability to grow and achieve.
