Educational Philosophy and Expectations for the Year
As a teacher, I want to create a learning environment that empowers my students to critically think, take chances and have fun. I strive to help my students understand what they're learning and life beyond the classroom as well.
Highlights of the fourth grade include and in depth study of the state of California. In science, we will study units of energy, structures, and more. In math we will continue to study fractions, multiplication, division, decimals, etc. My goal is to have an exciting year, covering all of the Fourth Grade California State Standards.
Life Outside of the Stallion's Stable
I am married and have a daughter and two step-children. My husband is a fifth grade teacher in the San Diego Unified School District. We have lived in Carmel Valley for over 23 years.I really enjoy travelling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
