I have been living in Del Mar for the past 30 years and love the people and the place. I started teaching at DMUSD when Torrey Hills opened in 2002, working as a Science Specialist since 2004.
I did my education in Malaysia and have a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a postgraduate degree in Microbiology. I taught High School Science in Malaysia. I worked at UCSD as a Research Assistant for 3 years and then decided to stay home to raise my 2 sons. I revived my love of teaching after my sons left for college.

Educational Philosophy
I believe that I have found my passion, I know all children are curious and have an inborn interest in the world around them. I try to bring real world experiences of Science into my lessons so students can understand the purpose of their learning. Hands-on experiments and creative projects are some of the activities that will be happening in Science. So bring your enthusiasm, creativity and the joy of learning and let's discover the wonders of Science!!!
