Welcome to Room 503!!!

Hello Parents and Families,

 Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. My name is Steven Brehm and I am your child’s Kindergarten Teacher at Carmel Del Mar!!! I am very excited for our year to start as it is filled with new people, new experiences, lots of learning, and most of all… loads of fun!

 I am thrilled to be starting my 21st year of teaching and my 7th here at Carmel Del Mar. I am originally from Michigan where I went to Hope College for my B.A. in Elementary Ed and Western Michigan University for my Masters in Special Education. I moved out to San Diego from Chicago and have been enjoying California and the beautiful weather.

 My goal this year is to help your child continue to develop academically and socially.  Parent help and support is very important, and I look forward to working together as your child’s learning grows.  I will communicate with you via classroom folders and email.  Please feel free to contact me at sbrehm@dmusd.org with any questions or concerns.
