Hello and welcome to first grade! I hope you had an excellent summer vacation and were able to rest and relax with your family!

I am very happy to be teaching 1st grade at Ocean Air and to have such a wonderful group of students! I know we will have an excellent year together!

For the first week of school, it would be extremely helpful to know where your children will be picked up at the end of the day.  Here is a link to a google form to fill out that will give me that information: How My Child Will Get Home Form  Also, below is a view of Ocean Air School to help you locate our classroom (Room 401) and where I will walk the children out at dismissal each afternoon.

I will be going over the first grade curriculum and procedures at Back to School Night on Thursday, August 17th . If you have any questions or concerns prior to Thursday, please don’t hesitate to contact me. The best way to reach me is by e-mail at ksullivan@dmusd.org. Please note that I am only able to check email at recess and lunch time.

First grade will be an exciting and memorable year for your child and I am looking forward to a great year together!
