About Me
Welcome! I’m Ms. Ho-Arick! I love creating a classroom where children feel genuinely known, celebrated, and excited to learn. I am grateful to spend my days helping young learners discover just how capable they are.
Educational Philosophy & What to Expect
I believe children learn best when they feel safe, known, challenged, and excited to come to school each day. My classroom is a supportive, joyful community where students are encouraged to think deeply, ask questions, take risks, collaborate, and grow as independent learners. I balance clear routines and explicit instruction with hands-on learning, meaningful discussion, creativity, and opportunities for students to make connections. Families can expect a classroom that values the whole child while maintaining high expectations for both academic growth and character.
I live in North Park with my husband, Clay, and our two French bulldogs, Flynn and Olive. Outside of the classroom, I love staying active and spending time outdoors—whether I’m weightlifting, hiking, or playing tennis or pickleball. I also enjoy traveling, reading, listening to podcasts, learning new things, and discovering new restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Most of all, I love spending time with my family and friends.
