I graduated from Sacramento State University, where I competed as a Division I sprinter on the Track & Field team. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, and Conditioning, graduating summa cum laude. After completing my undergraduate studies, I pursued my teaching credential at San Diego State University (Go Aztecs!). My passion for teaching and helping young people develop a lifelong, positive relationship with exercise comes from years of working with diverse age groups and sports programs. As a lifelong runner and athlete, I remain dedicated to staying active and leading by example.
I create a lot of the activities students engage in at PE with me.
If I'm not teaching or coaching you can usually find me out on a run or in the gym.
I have traveled to over 15 countries and would like to go to many many more.

I believe that students thrive when they feel supported—both emotionally and physically. As a physical educator, my top priority is to create a safe, encouraging environment where all students feel empowered to reach their goals while having fun, building physical literacy, and engaging in moderate to vigorous physical activity. My passion, experiences, and knowledge drive me to inspire students to develop a lifelong, positive relationship with movement.
Students can look forward to discovering new and exciting ways to be active while building essential social, emotional, and physical skills. Most importantly, they can expect to HAVE FUN in PE!
Throughout the year, students will take part in standards-based, creative, and progressive lessons designed to meet the needs of all learners—no matter their skill level or experience. They will explore a variety of activities that promote physical literacy and help them develop a lasting appreciation for movement and an active lifestyle.
