Hello Pacific Sky Pilots!
My name is Brittini Walker and I am thrilled to be a part of the Pacific Sky family! This is my 7th year teaching and my 6th year teaching 3rd grade.
I consider myself a life-long learner with educational experiences stretching from Chico, California to Alicante, Spain and, most recently London, England. I have a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a minor in Spanish language, and in January 2020, I graduated from King's College London with a Masters degree in Education, Policy & Society.
Upon returning to the U.S., I set down roots in San Diego and joined DMUSD as a 3rd grade teacher in the Launch Distance Learning Program. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had such wonderful experiences both as a teacher and as an international student and I am delighted to continue doing what I love most in the Del Mar Union School District!

Educational Philosophy & What to Expect in Third Grade
I am incredibly proud to work in a district that values creating an extraordinary school experience. I believe in helping students reach their maximum potential and grow into socially responsible global citizens. Each child has unique interests, talents, and strengths to share. Members of our classroom community work together to create a positive learning environment in which all students can feel safe and supported, take risks, think critically, and strengthen their problem-solving abilities. Empathy, integrity, curiosity, and kindness are at the core of all interactions within our 3rd grade family.
Life Outside the Hangar
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family! I love traveling, exploring the incredible outdoors (especially Big Sur and Colorado), and trying new foods. My favorite hobbies include yoga, cooking, reading, and early morning beach walks, and I can always be spotted with my coffee mug in hand!
