Hello and Welcome to the Learning Lab!
This year I look forward to teaching students at Ocean Air. For the past
seven years, I've had the privilege of being part of the wonderful DMUSD community.
I hold Bachelor of Fine Art degrees from The Art Institute of Chicago (Fine Art) and California College of Arts (Graphic Design). My previous career, in the field of Graphic Design, peaked my interest in creative and collaborative work as well as design thinking. In 2014, I decided to follow my lifelong passion to teach. I hold multiple subject and education specialist (mild/moderate) credentials and a masters in teaching from Point Loma Nazarene University. My studies at PLNU reinforced a sincere dedication to educating the whole child (academic, social, and behavioral).

My goal in teaching your student is to guide them towards the realization of their potential, so that they move forward with curiosity and a love of learning.
LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE SHARK TANK
Originally from Del Mar, my family and I live in Carmel Valley. My interests include walking, paddle boarding, and hiking in Torrey Pines Preserve; browsing at Warwick's bookstore in La Jolla; and all opportunities to view art. Our family's favorite places to travel include Lake Tahoe, Maui, and England.
