Educational Philosophy
I believe that every child should be given a quality education in a nurturing environment. Each child should be recognized as a unique individual, praised for their talents, and supported through their challenges. My role as the educator is to guide each child emotionally, socially, and intellectually in a secure, risk free atmosphere. As the classroom teacher, I will devote my time to using a variety of teaching strategies to guide each child through their learning, supporting their individual needs and curiosity as they grow. I look forward to partnering with you in the education of your child!

Life Outside of the Stallion's Stable
I come from a family of dedicated educators. My mother retired after 30 years in education and my grandmother was a music teacher. I’m also married to a teacher! My husband, Robert, is a fifth grade teacher in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. I am the proud mother of two boys Haydn (13 years) and Colin (10 years). My husband and I purchased a home in the Sycamore Ridge boundary so that our children could attend our wonderful neighborhood schools. Haydn is an eighth grader at Pacific Trails Middle School this year, and Colin is in fifth grade at Sycamore Ridge. Outside of school, I value time with my family.
