I earned a Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State, and a Master’s degree in Education and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Alliant International University. I am extremely lucky to have spent my entire career, including student teaching, learning and growing within the amazing Del Mar Union School District. I have been fortunate enough to work with some incredible teachers and administrators throughout my journey in DMUSD. I am constantly amazed by the wonderful programs and resources Del Mar Union is able to provide for their students, and I can't wait to share my love for learning with your kiddos!

I believe kindergarten should be a place where every child feels safe, welcomed, and excited to learn. I believe in nurturing students as whole people—with big ideas, big feelings, and an incredible capacity to grow. I set high expectations because I know they are capable, curious, and full of potential. With the right support and guidance, every child can learn, develop, and thrive. I care deeply about their academic, social, and emotional growth, and I strive to create a classroom that is inclusive, respectful, and empowering. My goal is to build confident, compassionate, and independent learners who love coming to school, believe in themselves, and value learning as a lifelong journey.
I was born and raised in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo, to be specific!), and am a true San Diegan – I love all things beach and outdoors. When I’m not teaching, you can find me with my husband, Max, my daughters, Emmett & Reed, and our golden retriever, Banks. We love to travel to new and familiar places (SLO is our all-time favorite), cheer on our San Diego teams (shoutout to the Aztecs & Padres), and spend time with our families and friends. We love to explore new restaurants, sip coffee at our favorite coffee shops, frequent local dog beaches, and go to parks/playgrounds around town!
