Snack Pass
Give your camper a daily snack option with our Snack Pass!
One Snack Pass = $15, and is good for one snack each day of camp (totaling 12 snacks).
Passes will be redeemed during recess or after camp, if they are enrolled in aftercare.
Additional Snack Passes may be purchased if you would like your child to have more than one snack.
Passes are purchased online when you register.
Campers can select one snack per day during their recess or during after school if they are enrolled in child care.

Camper AfterCare

We offer engaging after-school care with flexible options to fit your family’s needs
Full Session Package: $550 for 30 hours of care (covers the entire session).
Drop-In Rate: $25 per hour, billed in 15 minute increments ($6.25 per quarter hour)
Activities: Kids enjoy a variety of activities including free play, arts and crafts, supervised sports (kickball, tag, soccer, dodgeball, basketball and more, and quiet time with G-rated Disney+ shows (4:00 - 5:00 PM)
Late Pickup: A late fee of $1.00 per minute applies after 5:00 PM.

Reading/Writing Workshop
Third Grade
Session I: $1,100

Prepare your child for third grade with this enriching summer course designed to strengthen reading and writing skills. Incoming third graders will engage with a variety of texts to build comprehension, critical thinking, and writing skills.
Students will read fictional works, participate in guided discussions on story elements such as plot, character, and setting, and complete comprehension exercises. They will also create a detailed mind map and draft a plot development paper to enhance their narrative skills. For nonfiction, the class will examine key text features while organizing ideas in a web and composing a structured informational report. Additionally, students will explore a novel, focusing on targeted reading strategies and skill development.
This course offers a balanced approach to literacy, fostering academic growth and confidence in a supportive environment.

Broadway Bound!
Second through Sixth Grades

Through exciting activities, students will learn the ins and outs of musical theater, from designing sets to rehearsing songs and scenes. Our small-group setting creates a supportive and collaborative environment where students can thrive, enhancing their performance skills while building lasting friendships. The program culminates in a dazzling mini-musical, where students will share their talents and celebrate their accomplishments. Chemistry & STEAM Science Camp
First through Third Grades

Get ready for an unforgettable journey into the world of Chemistry and STEAM science in this exciting summer class! In this immersive program, students will embark on thrilling adventures each day, exploring the wonders of science in a hands-on and interactive way. Learn how acids and bases react with each other in crazy ways! Experiment with exploding various sodas using Mentos and our insane geyser tube! Science Guys of San Diego, make learning chemistry fun, cool and easy. Our STEM camp is designed to ignite curiosity and inspire a love for science. Students will unleash their creativity with engaging art components, adding an extra layer of excitement to their scientific explorations. This class is packed with hands-on engaging experiments, which may include: making elephant toothpaste, lava lamps, Skittle colors, walking water and more! Taught by Science Guys of San Diego.
Robotics
Third through Sixth Grades

From the galaxy of tomorrow to the jungles of yesterday, and even the thrill of competition, this robotics class offers something for every young engineer. Each week, students will embark on a unique robotic building adventure, exploring diverse and exciting themes! Students will not only learn valuable STEM skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and coding, but also develop their creativity, teamwork, and communication skills. Get ready to build, learn, and have fun!
Week 1: Jedi Robotics
Robotics inspired by Star Wars® and space travel – how cool! Come on an adventure building and
programming functional robots using LEGO® bricks in this super-fun program. Learn about space,
space travel and, of course, Star Wars®! Build different robots each day! Learning is enhanced
through the use of laptops in this class!
Week 2: Prehistoric Creatures Robotics (using Spike Prime)
Snapology’s Prehistoric Creatures Robotics focuses on the creatures that roamed the Earth before recorded history! In this program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while building some fascinating prehistoric creatures with their classmates! They will learn about the animals as they build and code robotic models! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges.
Week 3: Sumo Bots
Robot sumo wrestling means that once a match starts, humans are completely out of the loop! Sohow does the robot know what to do? How could it possibly be strong enough to defeat an opposing
bot? Your child will learn how to develop the solutions to these answers! Through engineering,
programming, and lots of testing, your child will learn how to battle their sumo bot in a tournament
against their classmates!
Art Camp
Third through Sixth Grades

Our Art Summer Camp offers an enriching educational experience where children can immerse themselves in a variety of themes, using an array of art mediums.
Week 1: Sanrio & Pokemon Week
We will blend these Pop Culture icons into fine arts by incorporating these characters with Different Art styles like Illustration, Expressionism , and Non traditional art with mediums like, pastel, watercolor, Acrylic and clay!
Week 2: Adventure week
We will explore the act of travel by showing the art of different cultures of the world and beautiful sceneries. Using different art mediums and craft materials we will create beautiful pieces of work admiring Earth's nature.
Week 3: Disney Week
We will celebrate our favorite Disney characters by learning about Character Illustration, Animation Landscapes, Clay Sculpting, and Toy Making!
Each theme is an opportunity to understand and practice with different artistic tools and techniques, nurturing both their love for art and their educational growth. Taught by the Artist Lab.

This make-it-and-take-it class is designed to spark creativity and build confidence through a variety of fun and engaging art projects. Kids will explore a range of mediums, from painting and mixed media to exciting craft building, all in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Whether your child is a budding artist or just loves to create, this class is perfect for all skill levels – no prior experience necessary! They'll dabble in a little of this and a little of that, taking home their own unique masterpieces each week.

Jewelry Exploration - Sparkle and Shine
Third through Sixth Grades

In Jewelry Explorations, young artists dive into the colorful world of jewelry making, learning the basics of beading, finger knitting and pattern making, while honing their creative expression. Through hands-on activities like designing bracelets and necklaces, students explore patterning, and this helps students recognize and predict sequences, reinforcing early algebraic thinking. Sorting beads, planning designs and arranging materials in a structured way teach students to be methodical and organized - essential skills for attention to detail in other areas of life. This class by Dragonfly Fun blends creativity with skill building in a fun, supportive environment, inspiring kids to create dazzling, wearable art that reflects their unique style and creativity.
Chess Basics
Kindergarten through Sixth Grades

Our goal is to teach children in grades K – 6 abstract concepts of planning, analysis and strategy through the game of chess. Kids will be excited to understand and amazed by the positive experience that chess offers. We believe that when a child learns the most complicated game in the world, they will build self-confidence, develop self-learning tools and learn how to evaluate their own decision-making process.
This chess class is fun and educational. Kids participate in mental gymnastics, learn chess from trained instructors, and experience competition with others. Kids who learn chess will sharpen their analytical and observation skills which will be very useful in many aspects of their life.
Chess teaches critical and abstract thinking, planning, logic and analysis. It improves the ability to concentrate and teaches the value of good sportsmanship. Chess also teaches the importance of behavior management: making good choices and considering all possibilities.

Advanced Tournament Chess and BugHouse Chess
Third through Sixth Grades
Session I: $400
M – TH: 1:30 – 12:30 p.m.
This class is a deeper dive into improving existing chess skills. Students must have taken a Chess class previously and have some experience. Students will learn to play with chess clocks and to notate their own games. They will be learning to analyze the games that they play, and to look for different possibilities that may have better results. This class is tournament focused and students are introduced to the rules and etiquette for tournaments. They will play a tournament during class in which trophies and medals will be awarded to all students. Students develop increased patience, critical thinking and planning. They also learn a healthy attitude toward competition and improvement. There will be a fun bughouse chess tournament. Bughouse chess is a 4 player variant of chess where the student plays with a partner in a fast paced, exciting game.
Ukulele
Third through Sixth Grades

Real World Robotics
Second through Fifth Grades

In Snapology’s Real World Robotics class, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life robotic technologies. Students will learn about gear reaction, sensors, simple machines and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors, robotic technology. Students will learn the importance of axles, gears and motors in mechanical movement. Each week, the students will be given a program to operate their robotic build and they will be encouraged to use their programming skills to enhance their robot’s performance. Your student will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn and play.
Mariposa Yoga and the Creative Arts
Kindergarten through Sixth Grades

Introduce your children to the word of yoga with DMP’s own, Ms. Nicole Lewis. These classes are designed to teach beginner yoga poses, breathing techniques and mindfulness. Tree, Warrior, Volcano and Butterfly are just some poses your children will learn.
