As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, offer therapeutic interventions, and support families in managing a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and other modalities.
Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure effective care and support.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and legal standards.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Licensure in Delaware as a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, Licensed Associate Social Work.
Licensure in Delaware as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or an equivalent credential.
Criminal and Child abuse clearances.
Preferred experience working in a clinical setting.
Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Capability to work effectively within a team environment.
A genuine passion for promoting the mental health and well-being along the lifespan.
Available to provide in office sessions to clients.
Individual and team supervision consistently provided.
Training in evidenced based modalities including yearly training budget.
