Gifted and Talented
Students are identified for Pearson's Gifted and Talented Education Program (GATE) through multiple measures. These include the CogAt assessment, classroom performance, and teacher recommendation.
Below are the units of study for the students in the GATE program. Note that only 5th grade students will be creating inventions for the Invention Convention at the end of the school year. 3rd and 4th graders will be displaying engineering and design challenges that they have taken part in during the program.
