Can my child switch from virtual or F2F once we began?
If a parent would like to transition from face-to-face instruction to virtual, this can be done at any time by notifying Ms. Perez via email at michelle_perez@dekalbschoolsga.org.
If a parent would like to transition from virtual instruction to face-to-face, this can only be done at each 4.5-week grading period. Therefore, the next date would be 4/28/21 to submit a change. A survey will be sent the week prior to allow you the opportunity to submit your request.

What will hybrid learning look like?
On Mondays and Tuesdays, Cohort A will attend face-to-face. Everyone else will attend class virtually.
On Thursdays and Fridays, Cohort B will attend face-to-face. Everyone else will attend class virtually.
Regardless of which cohort or option you choose, everyone will attend school 4 days a week.

Please note that our school start time will be 8:35 am and our end time will be 3:55 pm. Due to supervision limitations, students cannot be dropped-off prior to 8:20 am and must be picked-up no later than 4:10 pm.
