This program focuses on fielding high school students (14-19) in team-based positions where participants commute from home each day. A majority of our team members will be from Atlanta Public Schools. Teams typically work in urban parks and other areas at the intersection of cities and the natural environment. Many projects focus on trails and native plant work. One of our Atlanta crews is an affinity crew for individuals who self-identified as African American.
The Gamecock Arts Summer Program (GASP) is an opportunity for high school students aged 14-18 to experience college-level art and performance activities. This program is geared towards talented students who are serious about furthering their Arts and Humanities Education. In addition to participating in workshops, performances, and art shows, the students will also have recreational time on campus, as well as dining at the Jack Hopper Dining Hall or TMB.
