I was born in Lithonia, Georgia but was mostly raised in a rural town in middle Georgia named Sparta. I graduated from Georgia Military Preparatory High School, and attended college at the University of Georgia where I graduated with A Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and minor in Sociology. In the midst of seeking higher education, I found my calling in elementary instruction.
I have been teaching in the DeKalb County Schools since 2013 and have gained a passion for helping students grow and achieve their goals in all facets of life. I have recently graduated from Georgia State University with a Master's in Educational Psychology, accompanied by a math and coaching endorsement.
I am extremely excited for this school year. Math and Science are my favorite subjects and are considered "discovery" contents, and I can not wait to see all of the discoveries we will make together this year!
