My name is Dr. Bowie and I am SO excited to be your eighth grade and head counselor at DHMS! I was born and raised in New Jersey (NJ). I attended Rutgers, the State University of NJ where I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I moved to Georgia after working as a general education teacher, and secondary school counselor in Texas for nine years. I recently obtained my doctorate in Professional Counseling and Supervision at the University of West Georgia!
