Finding solutions:
Students should be able to use a diamond and generic rectangle to write quadratics as a sum and product.
They should also be able to use the Zero Product Property (ZPP) to calculate zeros of the quadratics.
Graphically:
Students should be able to graph parabolas and identify important characteristics of each parabola.
Important characteristics include: roots, zeros, x-intercepts, y-intercepts, the line of symmetry, vertex, right-side-up or upside-down, determine the maximum or minimum.
