Steven Mendell was chosen for the Spanish Honor Society (SHH) Bertie Green Junior Travel Award. In the spirit of the society's mission, each year the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica contributes more than $160,000 in awards to student members of the SHH, chapters, sponsors, and other SHH officers. The majority of the award money is provided to Student Travel Awards. Steven is 1 of 24 high school juniors that was chosen to receive this scholarship. Steven will be traveling to Puerto Rico this July to study the culture and language of Puerto Rico. Congratulations Steven! We are so proud of you!
