Volunteer Opportunities

The PTA is volunteer-run and we're always happy to have more folks helping out! Please fill out this form if you would like us to contact you with volunteer opportunities -> PTA Volunteer Interest 

All volunteers that will be interacting with students on campus MUST complete the RRISD volunteer application form each school year as well. Please register as soon as possible to prevent delays with volunteering!

Hospitality Helpers

The Hospitality Helpers play a crucial role in showing our appreciation for the hardworking teachers and staff by providing meals or snacks once a month. Some of these events are sponsored by the PTA while others rely on the support of our wonderful community members to contribute soups, pies, appetizers, and other treats. Your involvement would not only enrich our school environment but also offer a rewarding way to connect with other parents and support our dedicated educators. Dino Watch

Dino Watch are parents, caregivers, guardians, and other adults who volunteer for at least one day each year at an official Dino Watch school event. We especially encourage dads, grandfathers, and other male role models to join in and make a lasting impact at Deep Wood. Last year, Dino Watch helped with Safety Patrol, lunch duty, set-up for field day, recess coverage during Teacher Appreciation Week, and more! Clothes Closet

The Clothes Closet is a service project organized and sponsored by the Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs. This service provides gently used clothing as well as NEW socks and NEW underwear to ANY Round Rock ISD students in need. Check out the link to find a location or donate clothing.
