Dedham Pre-K

Hello! I am Catherine Melton, and I am very excited to be teaching Pre-K at the Dedham School!  I previously taught first grade in Deer Isle, Me. I want my classroom to be a place that students are excited and comfortable to be in.

In Pre- K we will help bring out students imagination; encourage their desire to be independent and self-esteem. We will work on developing kindness, self-discipline, and learning. Lastly we will learn how to observe, question, and explore ideas independently.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog, spending time with my family, reading, journaling, traveling, and trying a new recipe.
