All About Miss Downing

Hi! I'm Miss Downing, the first grade teacher. I'm passionate about creating a warm, welcoming classroom where every student feels valued and excited to learn. Building strong relationships with students and families is something I truly believe in, and it's at the heart of how I teach. I'm excited to bring energy, my passion, and dedication to my role here at Dedham School. 

This is my family- the people who have supported me every step of the way.  I love spending time with them- going on hikes, having a game night, taking girls' trips with my mom, or spending beach days back on Cape Cod where we're originally from. Life is better with them around ♡

These are my pups- my constant sources of joy and happiness. Our home is like a mini farm, with ducks, chickens, a pig, a goat, a tank full of fish, and even a bearded dragon. Never a dull moment in this household!
