Susan Healy, BSN, RN, NCSN, is the school nurse at Oakdale Elementary School. Originally from Bronx, NY, she earned her BSN from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 1979. In 1981, Susan moved to Boston and worked on the Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit at Beth Israel Hospital. Within her positions of nursing, Susan has had experience in medicine, home care, and leadership prior to beginning her role at Oakdale in 2001. Along with being the school nurse at Oakdale, she presently works per diem as a nursing supervisor at Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital in Needham, MA. and has spent over a decade as the health director at the Beaver Summer Camp in Chestnut Hill, MA. Susan and her husband, Thomas, raised their three children in Dedham, all which are proud graduates of the Oakdale School!
