Mrs. Hume has been a Special Education Teacher at Oakdale School since 1998. She has a B.S. in Education from Lesley College and a M.S. in Education from Simmons College. Mrs. Hume is a certified Associate Level Orton-Gillingham instructor.

Mrs. Hume lives in Norwood with her husband Michael, son Matthew, and their pet rabbit named Sky and hedgehog named Shaymin. She is a 4H Leader for the Poultry Club at Ward's Berry Farm and the Committee Chairman and an Assistant Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 49 in Norwood.
