Donna Farrar, BSN, RN
Donna Farrar is a Registered Nurse and holds an Associates of Science Degree in Nursing from Quincy College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Anna Maria College, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Bridgewater State. Donna worked at DMS as a paraprofessional from 2004-2007, while completing her first BA.
Donna started her nursing career at South Bay Early Intervention before heading to Florida to participate in an Emergency Nurse Internship Program. Donna worked in the emergency departments at Largo Medical Center, Mease Countryside and Palms of Pasadena, all located in Florida. Donna returned to Massachusetts in the fall of 2017 to greet her new niece, Wynnie, who arrived that October. She was a travel nurse in the emergency department at Morton Hospital, a Utilization Review Nurse at Blue Cross, Blue Shield of MA., and -re-joined the Dedham Public Schools in 2019 as a school nurse at Dedham Middle and High Schools.
When not at work, Donna, can be found at her per diem job at South Shore Hospital, working on her masters degree, or hanging with her nephew Cy and nieces Farrah and Wynnie. If those names sound familiar, it could be because they are the children of DMS’s Mrs. Randall, who is Donna’s big sister!
