Assessment

The curriculum drives what we do day in and day out with students PK-12. It is the foundation upon which all of our work is built. Assessments are the tools that let us know whether or not we are reaching and teaching students and delivering on our goals and commitments to the community. Assessment systems are built around those outcomes that an organization or school district determines to be central to their existence. For the Dedham Public Schools these outcomes are (1) Academic Achievement , (2) Social and Emotional Learning, (3) Student Engagement, (4) Health and Wellness, and (5) Community Satisfaction. The tiles below provide parents, families, and community members with an overview of the assessments that we use to measure and report on these key outcomes.
