Sculpture

Course description

Sculpture 1 is an introductory course in creating three dimensional forms. The course concentrates on developing technical skills and artistic appreciation of three dimensional forms. Students will learn the basic terminology associated with 3D design and develop forms using materials such as paper, cardboard, Styrofoam, wire, plaster, and clay. Various methods will be utilized in creating the sculptures including carving, modeling, and assemblage.

Sculpture is an unleveled semester course.
