Mrs. Randall has been teaching 7th grade geography since 2002. She has been teaching here at Dedham Middle School since 2004. Her educational background includes undergraduate degrees from Syracuse University in History and Social Studies Education, a Masters degree in Secondary Education from Eastern Nazarene College, and a CAGS in Administration from American International College.
Fun Fact: Her husband is a lifeguard on the Cape Cod National Seashore, don't swim out past your waist people!

Mrs. Noel has been teaching 7th Grade math since 2008 at Dedham Middle School. She was a Math major at Merrimack College, where she earned her Bachelor's degree. She received her Masters degree in Education at Lesley University.

Mrs. Lackner has been teaching 7th grade science at Dedham Middle School since 2003. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology/Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and her Masters degree in Science Education at Columbia University Teachers College.

Dr. Butters has worked at Dedham Middle School in special education since 2004. She has worked in every grade and has taught in the Adaptive Learning Center, small group, and inclusion. Dr. Butters attended Boston College for her undergraduate degree, where she double majored in Elementary Education and Child in Society with a minor in Special Education. After that she attended Salem State College for two masters degrees. The first in Elementary Education and the second in Special Education. In 2015, Dr. Butters completed her Doctorate of Education degree from Northeastern University.

Mr. Patterson has been working in a middle school setting since 2002. He started teaching 6th grade English at Dedham Middle School in 2004 and moved to 7th grade in 2014. He has an undergraduate degree in English from Clark University. a Masters degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts-Boston and a CAGS in administration from American International College.
Fun Fact: Years ago Mr. Patterson didn't even know how to fry an egg. Determined to fix that, he taught himself how to cook and can now even cook the fanciest of gourmet meals.

Mrs. Murphy began teaching Spanish here at Dedham Middle School in 2005. She also taught Spanish I and II at the Palm Beach County International Baccalaureate program of Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach, Florida in 2010-2011. Her educational background includes undergraduate degrees from UMASS Amherst in Communication and Spanish, and a Masters degree in Teaching the Spanish Language and its Culture from the Universidad de Granada in Spain.
Fun Fact: Mrs. Murphy played on a champion adult kickball team (and scored the winning run)!
