Training

There are multiple roles available for a Zoom meeting. Choose the Role in which you would like to be trained for:

Meeting Host

The Host user is the user that schedules meetings. They have full permissions to manage the meeting and there can only be one host of a meeting. However, Host can give co-Host permissions to multipule participants.

Technical Support

The Administrator attends meetings and lends assistance to the Host and/or Participants when needed. Some issues include users experiencing difficulty hearing or seeing their Host and/or other Participants or vice versa.

Student

The Student attends meetings as Participants. They have some permissions such as turning on and/or off their microphone and video. They can also share their screen if given permission by the Meeting Host.

UWI Administrator

The Administrator attends meetings and lends assistance to the Host and/or Participants when needed. Some issues include users experiencing difficulty hearing or seeing their Host and/or other Participants or vice versa.
