Childhood begins the journey as we step away from our parents and out into the unknown. We each arrive unique individuals, filled with stories, experiences, and imaginations that have provided the basis of who we are and suggest who we may become. We are hopeful and curious and filled with wonderings and questions. New things can still make us pause and stand mouth agape as we begin to construct the knowledge that will build the ship that carries us to new shores.

The delivery model for this program was setup to utilize the inquiry-process. In my readings from a multitude of sources, I compiled a set of possible trajectories and essential questions worth answering, like: What is your Story? What does sustainability mean for our future? What potential impact can we create for our future? What is a solutionary and what can you do to create change in your world? The program created a lot of excitement among those invited to participate, as well as, their parents. I had explored this method previously in a Reggio-inspired setting and had seen glimpses of its potential. And so I embarked with this select group.
