I had the pleasure of studying under Nikita ma'am during my days at DDU. I found her to be very driven and someone who developed inspiring relationships with her students. Nikita ma'am shared a wonderful rapport with all her students and would go out of her way in supporting us. She had a strong grasp of the subjects she taught us but what differentiated her from other professors was how empathetic she was towards her students.
She is forward thinking and always supports students with new ideas. Nikita ma'am was much more than a teacher - a mentor and an advisor. Thank you for all your support and I wish you all the very best for the future!

The way some few students leave a special mark on teachers, similarly some teachers are extremely special and students never forget them for the values they teach us . I still remember the day when she told our whole class ' you all are not just numbers, u all are people and I want to remember you the same way'. .
Within my entire engineering, the core subjects were taught by her and that has really helped me gain proper clarity about the subjects from the base. Her teaching style,methodologies and unique way of explanation is something I will never forget .
She has really upscaled herself by adapting to the latest trends so that she can be well aware of what's in and what's not which would definitely help DDIT understand what kind of subjects should be a part of the curriculum for IT students.

Nikita Desai is a lady with the midas touch. She is always on her toes to help an individual. She carries various skills in her bucket and she believes in power of sharing them. She is very good at all the latest IT technologies including Artificial Intelligence and NLP. She is a gem of the person who carries her team on her shoulder. Today, DDU sees tremendous success in IT department and that's impossible without her herculean effort for many years. I was her student in DDIT. She had contributed a lot in career growth. Thank you ma'am for blessing us with your skills and mindset.
One of the most versatile, soft spoken, knowledgeable, down to earth and caring lecturer/ teacher, i got a chance to learn from. Her dedication towards the welfare about students, and zest of transferring knowledge and making sure students understand and grasp instead of cramming for exams is beyond surpass. I on personal level learned lot of things from her, she is one of few persons i want to consider as my mentor and without doubt the best lecturer my university had. It was an honor to be your student mam.
Nikita ma'am has been one of those modern time gurus for us who always believed in quality of education rather than just being in the class for the sake of attendance. loved her way of teaching to the core. Her knowledge in her subjects is deep and the way she explains it makes it easier to grasp and never forget for the rest of your life. Was lucky to get a chance to learn from her.
I have studied under Nikita M'am for the subjects of Automata and others and gained excellent conceptual clarity. She also organized alumni meets to help me and others connect with other alumni. She helped me in class projects as well as applying for further studies. I am grateful to have received the fruit of her strengths in teaching fundamental concepts with clarity, connecting people and looking at pedagogy in a way that maximizes students' benefit.
One of my favorite professor from undergraduate studies. Focuses more on understanding a concept and gain knowledge rather than memorizing theory. I bet nobody can teach better compiler than her in DDIT. Exams in her subjects were fun too. Make you think hard to solve a problem. She was also an early adapter of MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) based examination which I liked a lot. Always a professor you look up to.
"The influence of a good teacher can never be erased" is a quote I would like to attribute to Nikita ma'am. She has been a wonderful teacher in the classroom and an exceptional one outside also. There are fewer teachers who take great passion in looking after students overall education. I am a very proud student of DDU and I am fortunate my study timeline coincided when Nikita ma'am was a professor. Till date she is one teacher who stays in touch with most of the alumni. Whenever I visit DDU I know for sure I would find one person in that cabin besides the HoD cabin and she would have ample time to talk to me.
when the name of Nikita madam come in my mind its always with the word "very active" and "great personality". Nikita madam is one of the best mentors I had in my life. Madam is wonderful to work with and has exceptional expertise in mentoring and teaching. As a student when we approached for help or change in the system of college, she is always ready to help. one unforgettable thing about she is, ALWAYS ready for the change and update herself with new technology and involve in activities of students and encourage the student to take a part in that.
Nikita Mam is one of the best professors that I have ever studied under in my educational life. I studied Data Structure and Algortihms(DSA),Compiler Design from her. She taught each of the data structures and algorithms by providing a real life application. She conducts programming contests through the Codechef DDU Chapter which is managed by her. She even motivates the students to participate in such competitive programming contests which helps students to improve their problem solving and algorithmic skills.
During my graduation days, I had the pleasure of being a part of several committees and forums overseen by Nikita Desai Ma'am over the years. She expertly fits the role of a teacher and a mentor who has an exceptional ability to understand students and guide them through practical and theoretical aspects of studies. As much as her peers look up to her for her excellent leadership skills, she is equally popular among the students across departments for her proactive approach to teaching. I admire her zeal in encouraging students to participate in co-curricular activities as well as technical events for their comprehensive development.
It has been an honor to be a student of such a caring, helpful and talented Ma'am. When a student was struggling to understand a new concept in class, she would try her best to make him understand the concepts. She effectively helped and improve the student’s performance and interest in the class.
As a student, I observed Nikita Ma'am was inquisitive and always looking for innovative solutions to even the most basic issues for ease of understanding the students. That inquisitive nature translated very well into her career as an educator. She feels a strong sense of responsibility to the students in her classes and she takes their success very personally.
Although our collaboration lasted for more than three years, What I have learned from her is more than I could ever expect. Her patience with each question in the lab or in a personal aspect is something I will always value.

You see a hundred different faces every day - some register while some are mere acquaintances. However, there are a few who inspire you to excel. Nikita Ma'am has always been that inspiration for me. She doesn't just teach a class, she involves them. That has an ever-lasting impact of the knowledge she imparts. I have also experienced that she makes sincere efforts to come up with examples which would enhance the understanding of any topic. She doesn't hesitate to go an extra mile for the students. One thing which sets her apart is her genuine attempt to know all her students personally. For her, we aren't just students, we are her kids. Her dedication towards her work radiates through her sheer desire to teach and inspire everyone around her.
I had the privilege to learn different subjects from Nikita ma'am during all four years of my undergraduate studies. Her teaching style is exemplary and she's a great mentor, who sticks to the correct and honest way of getting the best output. It has been always easy for me to approach her for any of the doubts or issues, for which I am really grateful. Her lectures are not always just limited to coursework, but also important life lessons to ponder upon later in the day.
"शिक्षक कभी साधारण नहीं होता प्रलय और निर्माण उसकी गोद में पलते हैं" I experienced this quote which is said by Chankya During my time at DDU. At this time I had the privilege of learning under Nikita ma'am. She struck me as a motivated woman who built remarkable ties with her students. Nikita ma'am had a great relationship with all of her students and would go out of her way to help us. She knew a lot about the things she taught us, but what set her apart from other instructors was how caring she was with her students.
She taught fundamental courses like Language Translator, and Knowledge Systems throughout my engineering career, which has really aided me in gaining a thorough understanding of the disciplines. I'll never forget her teaching style, techniques, and unique manner of explaining things. Even though during my time due to covid-19 the teaching mode was online but I felt like I was in the classroom and she taught us in offline mode.
She is remembered for always ALWAYS ready for change and updating herself with new technologies, as well as involving herself in student activities and encouraging students to participate.
A huge and heartily thanks to you ma'am for your remarkable mentorship in my life.
Nikita Ma'am is one of the best teachers I have encountered till date. A very challenging subject like Theory of Computation became my favourite when I studied it under her. Apart from teachings the life lessons given by ma'am will always stay with the students.
Nikita Mam has taught me subjects which included "Data Structures and Algorithms" & "Language Translator". It is cause of her exemplary way of teaching which helped me in learning core concepts of Data Structures and Algorithms. She imparts knowledge in a peculiar way and due to which no matter however difficult the topic or the subject is, one can extract learnings from it.
