Do you need extra elective credit? Art Club is on Tuesday's after school from 3:00-4pm in Room 8. You can earn a .25 elective credit for every 10 times that you attend. If you are interested in signing up please email me at michelle_colbert@ddsd40.org

Murals And Community Art

Check out Fir Ridge Student Art ar the World Trade Center!

Fir Ridge art students worked with Morpheus Youth Project, one of our community partners, over the summer to create a collaborative mural with some local graffiti artists. The mural is located at the World Trade Center on SW Naito Parkway downtown Portland.

Last year, Art Club students completed this design for a mural that is located at Plaza122 on 122nd and SE Market St.

VANS Custom Culture Contest

WIN $50,000 FOR YOUR HIGH SCHOOL’ Vans High School Custom Culture was created to inspire and empower high school students to embrace their creativity through art and design and bring attention to diminishing arts education budgets. Custom Culture High School is a national high school customization competition using blank Vans shoes to be customized around the specific themes, Hometown Pride and Head in the Clouds.
