Sorry about their being no images for the characters, I don't have any for them :sigh: (Oh, but if this goes well, I'll upload more characters!!)
"Once the dubbed as the Cradle of the twin gods, brimming with life- It now is a dormant circle in the deepest bowels of hell barren of life."
In the earliest days, when the cosmos were yet unformed, Primus, the Sovereign of All, didst bring forth into existence two twin deities before descending into a deep, eternal slumber. These were Arcellio, the Divine of Life, and Arioch, the Lord of Death. Yet, ere Primus fell into his somnolent repose, he did also shape the earth and engender the race of humanity, whom he placed as diversions for the twin gods, akin to cherished pets.
Alas, these very creatures, whom Primus had intended for amusement, did grow wild and unruly, their hearts tainted by greed, sin, and malevolence. To restore order, the two gods wrought a great cleansing, purging the wicked from the world. Yet, in their fervor, many innocents were caught in the tempest of their wrath. With the souls of the departed bereft of a haven, the brothers did construct the Celestial Mirror, a grand artifact nestled in the heavens, guiding souls to their destined abodes of bliss or torment. Arcellio presided over the realms of Heaven, whilst Arioch governed the infernal dominion of Hell.
Yet Arioch, burdened by his station and seeing naught but maleficence among humankind, did succumb to madness. His mercies were scarce, and his rage knew no bounds. He unleashed havoc upon the mortal realms, a rampage halted only by his brother Arcellio, who sought to enlighten him of the virtues that remained in mankind. In the course of these struggles, Arioch did engage in petty attacks upon various villages, evading his brother’s watchful gaze.
Amongst the victims was a lone woman who, against all odds, survived his wrath. Enraged by this survival, Arioch imprisoned her within the infernal abyss, intending to torment her. Yet, to his bewilderment, he found himself incapable of inflicting suffering upon her. Instead, a most unexpected fate befell him, for he and the woman did grow bound in a forbidden love. Certainly! Here's your passage translated into more formal, "fancy" English:
In time, the two souls became entwined in love, and soon—Arioch, against all expectations, accomplished the unimaginable. He gave birth to life.
However, Arioch, ever mindful, knew that hell was no sanctuary for an innocent child. Thus, he entrusted Lora with the ascent to the Overworld. Yet, in his negligence, three demons were allowed to slip through the veil and into the Overworld alongside her. With a thirst for vengeance against Arioch, these demons conspired to torment Lora and her progeny, Aneile.
One fateful day, however, their cruelty surpassed its bounds, and they abducted the child, abandoning her in a forest. It was there that Arcelio, in his wandering, discovered the lost soul. Soon after, he encountered Lora, who was frantically searching for her daughter.
This encounter ignited a deep obsession within Arcelio, and, consumed by infatuation, he sought to manipulate Aneile, turning her against her mother. Yet, despite his machinations, Lora steadfastly rejected his advances and remained loyal to her beloved Arioch. This unrelenting refusal drove Arcelio to such a furious madness that he took it upon himself to kidnap Lora, imprisoning her in the heavens.
Upon learning of this grievous act, Arioch, wrought with anguish, unleashed a war of such magnitude that it roused Primus from his slumber. In response, Primus, in his infinite judgment, decreed a punishment upon the two gods, taking Lora’s soul for eternity, ensuring neither Arcelio nor Arioch could claim her in life or death. This strike of fate tore through Arioch’s heart, as though it were the very fabric of his being, leaving him to wither on the battlefield, consumed by the agony of heartbreak.
But soon, Arioch was cast back into hell, where Arcelio, ever relentless, confronted him in a battle of fury over Arioch’s wife. This violent clash shattered Arioch’s physical form, condemning him to remain bound in hell for all eternity.
Meanwhile, Arcellio, beholding his brother’s plight, became ensnared by a tragic passion of his own. He fell enamoured with the wife of Arioch, the sole mortal whom he could touch without fear of decay, unlike her mortal kin. To draw near to her, Arcellio did court Arioch’s daughter, yet her heart remained steadfastly with her husband. In a fit of rage, Arcellio seized the woman and confined her within the celestial realms, igniting a divine conflict of unprecedented scale.
This celestial strife roused Primus from his slumber, and the Allfather did descend upon the warring brothers with a decree of retribution. In his divine wrath, he took from them the woman, ensuring she would be lost to both life and death, thus bringing an end to their fatal rivalry and restoring balance to the cosmos.
Primus, the god of all bored in the void, brought two twin brothers to life before falling into a slumber: Arcellio, the god of life, and Arioch, the god of death. But before Primus fell asleep, he also made the earth and the race of humanity, to keep the two gods entertained like pets. However, these very “pets” grew into pests, corrupted by greed, sin, and evil. To set the world right, the two brothers purged the evildoers—but many innocent souls lost their lives in the process. With no place for these souls to go, they created the divine mirror, which rested in the sky, guiding souls to either heaven or hell. Arcellio watched over the heavens, while Arioch ruled over hell.
Arioch was too soft for hell, and after being forced to see only the worst in humans, he went mad and began another killing spree. Arcellio stopped him, attempting to convince Arioch that there was "good" in humanity—good he had never been able to see. That was until one day, when Arioch started making smaller attacks on random villages to avoid Arcellio’s notice. A woman survived. Her name was Lora. Furious, Arioch trapped her in a prison in hell, intending to torture her—but for some reason, he couldn’t. Eventually, the two fell in love and soon- Arioch was able to do what he was not expected to. Create life.
However... Arioch was well aware hell was no place for a child. So, he sent Lora up to the Overworld. But- Careless, Arioch accidentally let three demons slip into the overworld along with Lora. Wanting revenge on Arioch, the three demons decide to torment Lora and her child. Aneile. One day though- the demons go too far and kidnap Aneile, leaving the poor kid in a forest. Arcelio finds her and runs into Lora who was looking for Aneile.
Arcelio begins to obsess over Lora after the whole forest panic. And because Arcellio had fallen into infatuation with Lora, he groomed Aneile and even turned her against Lora who still, nonetheless rejected his advances and remained loyal to Arioch. This enraged Arcellio so much that he kidnapped Lora and locked her in the heavens.
When Arioch found out what happened to Lora- he sparked a massive war, so great that it caused, Primus, to rise from his slumber. In response, Primus punished the two gods by taking Lora's soul away for good, ensuring that neither of them could have her in life or death. This struck Arioch with such heartache that it felt as though he were dying, rotting on the battlefield from heartbreak. But shortly after, he was back in hell, where Arcellio came and had a violent confrontation with him over Arioch’s wife. This fight destroyed Arioch’s physical body, leaving him bound in hell forever.
"Butterflies resemble death & rebirth. This specific species is said to be the new vessel for souls of fallen angels."
"For everyday that has passed since Lora has been sealed- His majesty has planted a cluster of Moonbloomer Hydrangeas. Due to his body being destroyed, the job has been left to ???"
