The Technology Approval Process (TAP) provides DDSB staff a method of having software and hardware reviewed to ensure it is safe, effective and compatible for students and the DDSB infrastructure. Any software teachers would like to use where student information or accounts are used should be submitted via IT Service Desk.

Some software that is approved requires parental consent to use, as student information or intellectual property is transmitted and stored on third-party services outside of our core technologies. This includes some DDSB-licensed software, like Knowledge Hook, WeVideo and Soundtrap.
