When NASA launched Kepler, an advanced powerful telescope in 2009, the mandate of its mission was simple: Is there life out there in the universe? To seek out answers to this question that has preoccupied humankind for many years, Kepler looked for new stars with planets that resembled earth in their size and composition. After Kepler was retired by NASA in 2018, TESS soon took over as Kepler's successor. It is currently continuing the work that Kepler started. Complete the questions in your Google Doc.

The James Webb Telescope is the most powerful telescope ever to be launched. It will take over the work of the Hubble telescope and expand on the work of TESS. The mission is a collaboration between NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).
