Getting Ready for High School (GR4HS) Program: This program is open to all students entering grade 9 in a Durham District School Board school in September. GR4HS provides students with a brief introduction to the grade 9 English and mathematics curriculum, as well as study skills, time management, and steps to success. The program also allows students to become familiar with their new school and prepares them for the transition from elementary school to secondary school. It is especially helpful for students who are experiencing some anxiety related to the upcoming transition.
