National Parks / Les Parcs Nationaux
This video provides you with a brief introduction to all of the National Parks in Canada. See what catches your eye. Think about how these parks reflect the features of the ecozones we've discussed in class. Your teacher will then assign you a park to investigate. The three resources below- a video on your park, the Parks Canada website, and the Canadian Encyclopedia- will provide you with a wealth of information. Base your research on each of these three sources.
Click on the image above to link to videos on many different National Parks. Watch the video of your selected national park. Take notes on your assigned subtopics using the note-taking sheets assigned to you.
For French immersion students, you may take your notes in English for the video.

For French immersion students, select "FR" on the top right corner of the webpage for "L'encyclopedie Canadienne". You will be taking your notes in French for this resource.
Search for your national park. Take notes on your assigned subtopics using the note-taking sheets assigned to you. Once you find the main page of your park, remember to explore all the contents on the left margin. Parks Canada has a vast amount of information on each park.
For French immersion students, select "Francais" on the top right corner of the webpage. You will be taking your notes for "Parcs Canada" in French.
