What I Need For Kindergarten
¨ Simple backpack with one large pocket (needs to fit extra clothes, running shoes, library book, mailbag, home reading, sweater, and a reusable water bottle at least).
¨ One set of spare clothing in a Ziploc bag (pair of pants, a t-shirt, underwear and socks....)
Please label all clothing with your child’s name.
¨ Reusable water bottle filled with water (push up/push down or flip up lid please). Please label with your child’s name.
¨ Lunch bag that is big enough to hold your child’s lunch and 2 reusable healthy snack containers that your child can open independently. Please label all containers with your child’s name.
Remember we are a nut-free school. Other allergies could be possible. We will let you know in September.
¨ Pair of indoor running shoes that are Velcro andcomfortable. Having indoor and outdoor running shoes in the nicer weather is important for safety when your child participates in gym. Please print your child’s name on them.
¨ Dress your child in clothes they can put on independently for all weather conditions as the year progresses. An extra pair of waterproof mitts and socks would be beneficial in the cold, wet weather.
¨ Please check backpacks dailyfor dirty clothes. Please communicate by e-mail or Remind. Please provide your e-mail addresses on the registration form if you are willing to communicate this way. Information on how to join the class Remind will be sent in September.
¨ Please consider donating Kleenex boxes, art materials, and loose parts. Your participation is appreciated and voluntary.
Please consider sending your child with a few masks to keep the whole class safe and healthy. We will encourage everyone to stay at 1 metre apart while we learn.
Remember your child needs to be able to independently put on, take off, and open all the things you send to school.
