Who is using this kit? 

Digital Dundee Learning Box Four contains seven items to support learning:

• 1 x Vex IQ Super Kit

• VEX IQ Super Kit | Rapid Online 

  • Over 850 structural and motion components

  • 4 x Smart motors

  • 7 x Sensors (2 x Touch LEDs, colour sensor, distance sensor, gyro sensor, 2 x bumper switches)

  • Robot brain, controller, batteries, chargers and cables included

  • Storage bin and tray included for organised storage of all parts

• 1 x Vex IQ Full Challenge Field

• 1  x Vex IQ Robot Brain

• 1 x Vex IQ Battery

• 1 x Vex IQ Controller and Spare Battery

• 1 x Vex IQ Squared Away Game Kit for 2019 / 2020 Challenge

• 1 x Vex IQ Next Level Game Kit for 2018 / 2019 Challenge 

This box is designed to develop understanding of the physical processes of programming and introduce learners to robotics. Learners in groups of 4 can design and build a robot to meet their own criteria or which can complete the challenge in the accompanying game kits. 

This is pack for upper primary and secondary level pupils can develop computing science skills using common languages such as Modkit (block based programming) or ROBOTC (image based programming). In linking to the Design and Engineering curriculum, loan schools can create their own challenges and develop a wide range of skills.
