A list of titles held in the Pedagogy Team lending library is now available online. Divided into three categories - Literacy, Numeracy & Maths, and Pedagogy - these books can be borrowed by contacting the Pedagogy Team directly.

Change to NQT Training Dates
Due to a clash of dates with the Dundee University Graduation Ceremony on Thursday 18th November we have changed our NQT training schedule. The sessions from 17th and 18th November will now be ONE WEEK later and will now go ahead on 24th and 25th November.
Discovery Film Festival 2021
All films in the online festival programme will be accessible from Sat 23 October to Sun 7 November 2021.
Shorts For Language Practice
Once again, the 1+2 Languages PanTayside teams have worked with the DCA to produce resource packs for language learning. The focus was on 2 films this year.
Kiko et les Animaux (Kiko and the animals) offers resources for learners of L2 French (First level) and L3 Gaelic (First level) around the themes of friendship and animal rights.
Learners of L2 French working within Second and Third levels will have the opportunity to learn more about UNCRC through the short movie Migrants.

Teaching Cycle launched at Head Teacher's meeting
The Pedagogy Team officially launched their interactive teaching resource at the recent Head Teacher's meeting on 15th September. It is hoped the tool can be used as self directed CLPL to help support teaching and learning. To find out more you can access the Teaching Cycle from the main menu.
Moderation Plans in place for November in-service days
Making use of the 71 QAMSOs we have in Dundee, plans have been made for moderation events to be run in every school across the two in-service days. Quality Assurance Moderation Support Officers will lead events looking at all the sections of the moderation cycle, staff will be involved in high quality discussions and will receive feedback on the work they share.
