Hi my name is Lisa Benson. I teach HS French and MS French and Spanish. I recently moved to NE from Germany where I lived for 7 years. Prior to living in Germany, I lived in Kansas City and taught there. This is my 2nd year teaching here at DC West.

I'm a graduate of the University of Tulsa and Université Grenoble. My degrees are in French/Education and International Studies.

I'm married with 3 kids ranging in ages from 13-24. I enjoy travelling (current country count is 25) cooking, reading and walks through the countryside.

I hope to provide a fun learning experience for your students and impress upon them how learning a foreign language can open up their world and lead them to many opportunities in their future.
