Reading: Our first reading unit is centered around the theme of journeys. Each week, we will explore a new story while practicing important reading skills. To check for understanding, students will take a short quiz each Friday covering the week’s vocabulary and comprehension skills.
Writing: We will continue practicing how to write well-structured paragraphs. By using a variety of sentence types, students will make their writing clearer, stronger, and more polished.
Science: Our first science unit will focus on matter. Students will participate in a variety of hands-on experiments designed to deepen their understanding of these concepts and make learning both engaging and meaningful.
Social Studies: We are learning about the Native American tribes of the United States.
