Facility Needs
Our current Middle School classroom space addition has exceeded capacity
Our current High School physical educational space is not accessible to all (ADA compliant)
We need a proper performance space for Band, Theater, Choir, Speech, Lectures, Presentations, and other events for all grade levels
We have limited fine arts classrooms and space for Middle and High School students
DC West enrollment has increased 20% in the past six years, averaging a 3.3% increase each year.
Specifically, the Middle School enrollment has increased by 38% in the past six years.
The current Middle School addition has 10 classrooms. A total of 16 classrooms are needed.

Multiple gathering areas, specialist classrooms, and a larger entrance and office area are needed.
The current Middle and High School weight room is located in the former Elementary library.
The current entrance to the lower level High School girls locker room that is not physically accessible for all students.

The current choir performance space in the gymnasium.
The current band performance space in the gymnasium.
Successful Theatre, One Act, and Speech Programs do not have a performance auditorium or theatre stage.
