Hello VES Students and Families!
My name is Brett Jackson, and I am your school counselor at Vanleer Elementary. This is my first year serving this community. I was born and raised in Cumberland Furnace, and it is so fulfilling to serve a community so close to my heart. I graduated from Creek Wood High School in 2016 and started attending Austin Peay State University that Fall where I obtained my Social Work degree. In 2020, I began my Master level work at Austin Peay State University for School Counseling and spent a lot of my time at VES under Mrs. Amber Palmore doing my internship.

In my spare time, you can find me coaching on the CWHS softball field, or exploring nature with my goldendoodle, Benji.
