While I was getting my Masters degree at MTSU, I was the library assistant and taught the computer lab classes at SBES for 2 years. Before taking the position at SBES, I was a substitute teacher for 2 years.
I was the library media specialist at The Discovery School for 17 years.
I originally graduated from Belmont College (before it became Belmont University) with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Business Administration. I took the courses required and passed the state test to teach math on the secondary level. However, life happened and I never took a teaching job in a school system. Teaching math was not something I was cut out to do.
My previous work experiences range from Montgomery Bell State Park, to administrative assistant in the Mechanical Engineering department at TTU, to administrative assistant to a subcontractor on Redstone Arsenal, to computer software trainer and computer salesman.
